*PLEASE KEEP IT REFREGERATED* to delay fermentation. Once it starts fermenting, kimchi will turn tangy and tart.
*POP* the bottle cap might pop (like champagne bottles) because the active fermentation process creates gas while making good probiotics
*USE CLEAN UTENSILS* and do not eat out of the jars. Saliva or water will get your kimchi moldy.
Shipping is available through Canada Post Xpresspost. For your shipping cost, please refer to the shipping calculator when you check out. If the courier fails to locate the address or the person receiving the package, Salty Cabbage is not responsible for replacing or refunding the package.
Every jar will be sealed and bubble wrapped. In extremely hot weather in summer, each package will include 2 ice packs to ensure freshness.
Packages will be shipped out on Tue-Thu every week. Orders placed after 8am will be processed the next day.
Although we do our best to keep our products as fresh as possible, kimchi actively and naturally ferments within the jar while in transit. It could taste sour and tangy if transit takes more than 3 days.
We cannot ship to P.O boxes to ensure freshness of kimchi. If the courier fails to locate the address or the person receiving the package, Salty Cabbage is not responsible for replacing or refunding the package.
We seal the jars to prevent leakage. There are signs on the box to notify Canada Post to keep it upright. Salty Cabbage is not responsible for any leakage or damaged products. Xpresspost however comes with up to $100 liability insurance. It is customer’s responsibility to track their packages and/or claim for liability in case of any damage to the product.
Tracking number will be given to customers upon placing orders.
